overview of all units

Units are used to capture enemy ships to defend enemy captures. They are trained in the barracks (German: Kaserne). In addition to one-time construction costs, units incur food consumption per tick and cost upkeep in the form of RE.

Unit Overview[]

Terran (T) units and Vasudan (V) units hardly differ from each other within their level. Only their name and image varies.

Deployment of units[]

It has become common practice to deploy units only on certain ships, and mainly on 2nd row ships like destroyers, carriers or frigates, which can host a large number of units anyway. On 1st row ships, marines are often wasted as they are also destroyed when their ships are destroyed. An exception to this is often Triton CV 34 Raiders (cruisers), as these are particularly suitable as caper ships as they can house many units and have disruptors that can disable enemy drives.

It must also be remembered that privateer attacks are often carried out with strong officers and as many units as possible. Therefore, it often does not make sense to station units on ships with low unit-housing capabilities, as they will simply be overrun.

Therefore, Marines or Menfti are almost exclusively used - if they are available - to achieve maximum combat power on ships where units are to be stationed.
